| Handy Stuff to Know When You Visit WOLFPEN ATV CAMPGROUND: See our Cancellation Policy on our FAQ page We gladly accept Visa/Mastercard, personal and business checks. FYI We have a small store available with soft drinks, snacks, ice, cigarettes, picnic supplies, groceries, riding accessories, etc. (Don't forget to take home one of our Wolfpen ATV Campground T-Shirts!) Reservations are strongly recommended, expecially for Lodges and Cabins. Minors riding 4 wheelers: Arkansas state law states that a person 12 years of age or older shall be entitled to operate an ATV, under 12 must be in direct supervision of an adult 18 years or older. Federal Law requires spark arrestors on ATV's and dirt bikes. There is no helmet law in Arkansas, although we strongly recommend helmets for small children. No OHV sticker required in the state of Arkansas at this time. The terrain is mountainous and rocky. Trails are marked well. If the sign says experienced riders only, it means experienced riders only. Air Life has a tough time getting to some of the harder trails (Guess how we know this!) There are plenty of trails for the novice rider. There are numerous swimming areas along the trails. Swimming okay....riding your ATV in the creeks - NOT OKAY - $150 fine (minimum) No fee for riding the trails, they are a part of the national forest (your tax dollars at work) You can ride directly from the campground to the trails on a county road -- meaning single file, headlights on, and no speeding. "Hot Dogging" will not be allowed, and will result in you being asked to leave the campground WITH NO REFUND! Polk County is a dry county, so if you imbibe, better bring your own. We allow alcoholic beverages inside the campground at your campsite, but be aware that good ole' boys (and girls) that get rowdy get booted! We strive to keep this a family place! No washing ATV's in the campground or creek. ;Believe us, they'll just get dirty again. Absolutely no joy riding in the campground--that's what the trails are for. Children are not allowed to ride in the campground. If parents don't enforce this - we will! No refund for early departure. We cannot control the weather (although it would be a nifty trick!)
